Our Team

Dean Forbes

Co-Founder and Chairman

In March of 2020, Dean became the CEO of Forterro, a firm that delivers ERP software solutions to the manufacturing and production industries globally. In this new role, he is responsible for all elements of the company’s growth on behalf of its 1,200 employees.

Dean and his wife of nearly 20 years, Danielle have developed Forbes Family Group from a successful personal property and investment portfolio to an organisation whose objective is to support the entrepreneurs and individuals that the Group backs and invests in. Taking this to the next level of developing social programs and working with charities has been an natural and unsurprising step from this philanthropic and passionate team.

Dean takes pride as mentor and is a big believer in social mobility and helping people from comparable backgrounds. He is also member of the Board of Directors for the ACLT and active supporter of various other charity organisations.

Danielle Forbes

Co-Founder and CEO

Danielle is responsible for day-to-day operations, overseeing all of FFG’s activity across multiple areas. After having three children, Danielle returned to work in the family business with a primary focus on FFG’s investments in technology and property. A keen designer and developer, Danielle has been instrumental in building the property portfolio for FFG as well as broadening the group’s investment profile. Now in addition to traditional buy to let investments, FFG is operating a group fund option that enables people of any financial standing to become property investors to generate liquidity for themselves and their families. This is the first group fund option that is not reliant on an individual’s credit rating in the UK.

Beyond property and technology, Danielle has a keen interest in Project Ten where FFG invests heavily each year to develop a small number of disadvantaged, but talented individuals to prepare them for work. Danielle is personally involved in their development and preparation alongside the rest of the FFG team and partners.

Danielle is also a keen supporter of the ACLT (African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust) and is an active fundraiser for this great cause.
